Hi, I’m Ash. I’m the creator behind Bee Stitch’d! I’ve been crocheting for many years and absolutely love it. It’s such an easy way for me to unwind and make amazing items out of a string!
Along with crocheting, I also really like to sew, do cross stitch, and dabble in macramé. I like the feeling of finishing a project and being able to look back at what I’ve made.
I am an American living in a metric world, so I will work my hardest to offer both US and UK crochet terminology as well as inches next to centimeters!
Fun fact about me: I’m a lefty! Which means that whenever I crochet in public, everyone asks “wow! You’re a lefty!” This can make reading some pattern charts a bit more difficult, since they’re backwards, but otherwise doesn’t change how the patterns look.
I work at a wool/fabric/haberdashery shop, so I’m constantly surrounded by yarn, new projects and fun ideas.
